MTPO endorses Congressman Leonard Lance (CD-7)

We would do well to take note of the recent past Super Tuesday GOP primaries.  All of the so called Tea Party candidates lost and one would have to agree it was for good reason — they were NOT the strongest candidates!  In order to govern in America, one must win elections and be part of the majority. 

For his part, Leonard Lance (NJ CD-7) has won his past primaries by increasingly larger margins and there is EVERY indication that trend will continue next Tuesday.

In this season of giving and resolutions, we are proud and privileged to share with YOU - our friends and supporters - the first important meeting of this mid-term election year!

We think it crucial that all Republican candidates continue to emphasize the debacle of Obamacare while also reminding Americans that we have been proposing solutions since - at least - 2009.  Every Democrat incumbent must be inextricably linked to this flawed and failing program.  So, too, our positions on smaller government and jobs creation must be part of GOP campaigns.
